For students entering into their final year of the International Baccalaureate. At our Mid-IB Revision Course you’ll revise your first year material and get a head start on your final year subjects, as well as be introduced to the key IB skills you need to know to excel in the IB.
All of my tutors had a lot of resources printed for us to go through. They were flexible with their plans, so when we wanted to go through something in more detail they were able to accommodate that. They were all really friendly and made me feel more relaxed and calm about my revision.
I just wanted to thank you for this weekend, Ejiro was great with the girls!
Charlotte is really awesome! She has helped me tremendously in Biology HL and Chemistry HL. Her knowledge of the syllabus and tips for exams are really great!
Rafael explained rather complicated concepts in a clear, exam-focused way.
Every day at the Mid-IB Course, students' workshops end in the afternoon and you'll enjoy two hours of free-time to spend as you please. You might find you'll benefit from additional support with a tutor during this time instead, and you can find information about these options here.
£75 per hour of support
Each subject workshop at the course will provide you with all the information you need to know in the key aspects of your second year syllabi. However, if you're keen to revise a particular aspect of last year’s syllabus, to have a member of the team help you drill down on your learning for the day, or to receive a crash course in the syllabus of a subject not offered at the Mid-IB Course, you might benefit from an afternoon of private subject tuition.
Private subject tuition is available each afternoon of the Core Mid-IB Course after workshops end, and you can let us know as part of your registration what you'd like to do each afternoon you've requested support.
You can find out more about how we arrange one-to-one private tuition on the Tuition page of the Elite IB website.

When you return to school in the new academic year, after the Mid-IB Course, you should have a good idea of where you’ll be applying to university and for what programmes. It’s important to spend the summer devoting time to your personal statement, university choices, and work experience to give yourself the best chance when making your applications. A Consultation with a member of Elite IB’s University Application team is one of the best ways to make sure you’re perfectly prepared to submit your UCAS form.
If you choose to have a Consultation with an Elite IB Consultant during the Mid-IB course, we’ll place you with a tutor in your chosen field of study (the subject you intend to study at university). If you’re unsure what subject you’ll apply for, but have an idea where you want to go or a more general area of interest, we’ll try to place you with a tutor who’s best suited to advise you on your application.
During your Consultation, you and your Consultant can work on your personal statement, any admissions tests you need to prepare for, or consider which are the best universities to apply to, taking into account your interests and aspirations. You can find out about the university consulting support we offer students on the ‘Consulting’ pages of the Elite IB website.
