The Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) is a Methodist Institution founded in 1886 in Singapore. ACS started teaching the IB in 2005, and has since consistently ranked among the top IB schools in the world. It was also one of the first schools to offer the Gifted Education Programme (Singapore). The school has several notable alumni, including 1 Singapore President, 14 full Ministers, 5 Supreme Court Justices, 3 Attorney-Generals, the Founding President of Fudan University and Singapore's only Olympic gold medalist.
