The Abbey School is an independent day school for girls in Reading, Berkshire. The school has Church of England traditions, but accepts students of all faiths. The school is selective and students are expected to perform well academically. In 2017, girls who took the IB Diploma at the school averaged 36 points, well above the world average of 30 points. Sixth Form students who do not wish to take the IB can opt to study A-Levels instead.
