The Rochester Grammar School is a grammar school with an academy status in Kent. The school provides education for girls, but its sixth form is coeducational. RGS was opened in 1888 under the Endowed School’s Act of 1869 and started teaching the IB Diploma in 2007. Sixth form students can choose to study A-Levels instead of the IB Diploma. Students are expected to perform well throughout their school lives, which is reflected on the school's high academic results every year.
The average score of students at RGS is 38 compared to the IBO average of 28.56
