The first United World College of South-East Asia campus was established in Dover in 1971. It became the first school in Asia to offer the IB Diploma. Today, over 3,000 students are enrolled at UWCSEA Dover. Students follow a UWCSEA-designed curriculum until Grade 9, where they begin their IGCSE programme before eventually undertaking the IB Diploma in Grades 11 and 12.
